Virtus Group Job Board

Wealth Management Advisor

Description

Help shape the future of wealth management with Virtus Private Wealth (VPW).

Financial decisions don’t happen in isolation, and we don’t believe financial planning should either. VPW brings wealth management together with the accounting and tax expertise Virtus Group clients already trust, helping them see the bigger picture and make confident decisions about their future.

We’re looking for an experienced Wealth Management Advisor based in Regina who wants to help us continue building VPW and growing our presence in the market.

You’ll get to know what matters most to your clients, build trusted relationships and develop practical, connected strategies across financial planning, tax, corporate structures, insurance and estate planning.

As our Wealth Management Advisor, you’ll become the wealth management champion in our Regina office. You’ll work closely with Virtus Group’s accounting and tax professionals and TriCert’s investment management team to provide clients with a coordinated, seamless experience.

What you’ll bring to the team

  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation, or enrolled in the program.
  • Five or more years of experience in financial services.
  • Life Insurance Licence with the Insurance Councils of Saskatchewan, or the ability and willingness to obtain and maintain one.
  • A client-focused approach, with the ability to turn clients’ goals into practical strategies.
  • Strong business development skills, with confidence building relationships, identifying opportunities, and growing a referral network.
  • A collaborative mindset and ability to bring together expertise across accounting, tax, investments, and other advisory areas.
  • Self-motivation, initiative and a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans tailored to each client’s goals and circumstances.
  • Build long-term client relationships, monitoring progress and adapting strategies as their needs evolve.
  • Coordinate with Virtus Group professionals and TriCert’s investment management team to deliver connected advice.
  • Provide needs-based insurance planning and support corporate and estate planning strategies.
  • Grow VPW’s presence in Regina through referral relationships and involvement in the local business community.
  • Help shape our Regina wealth management offering by bringing forward ideas and opportunities as the division grows.
