Virtus Group is seeking a motivated Wealth Management Associate to work closely with our Wealth Management Advisor, assisting with various financial planning and administrative tasks. This is a unique opportunity to gain experience in wealth management, playing a key role in our client’s financial success.

What you’ll bring to the team
- 3-5 years’ experience in the financial services industry as part of a financial planning advisory team.
- A client-centric professional attitude.
- A general knowledge of tax and financial planning principles.
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and time management skills.
- Experience working with Conquest planning software is preferred, but not required.
- A desire to pursue both the Certified Financial Planning (CFP) designation and the Life Licenses Qualification Program (LLQP) would be an asset.
How you’ll support our clients and professional team
- Lead new client onboarding, assist with regular monitoring of clients plans, and maintain accurate client records.
- Support the Wealth Management Advisor in preparing presentation and meeting materials and participate in meetings as needed.
- Act as a first point of contact for clients, schedule meetings, and provide a high level of client service.
- Process a variety of transactions (e.g., deposits, contributions, and withdrawals, incoming and outgoing transfers, updating beneficiaries, etc.).
- Work alongside the Accounting Team to deliver integrated financial planning for our clients.
- Manage client insurance application process, general administration on in force insurance policies, and regularly follow up with clients.
